CECCEC stands for Continuing Education Center. This evolutionary idea was developed so that people can have proper education throughout their career even when they do full-time job.
at AIUB was set-up with the idea of leveraging AIUB’s strengths in the fields of
Computer ScienceAIUB made a ground breaking appearence and they kept showing their excellence ever since. And the Computer Science Department is the most technically skilled department of this renowned university.
& Engineering to provide short range specialized ICT courses, to AIUB students as well as students from outside AIUB. These courses are in the areas of computer network engineering, computer system administration, and application programming, that lead to vendor certification from internationally recognized organizations such as CISCO, SUN Microsystems, Microsoft, GameWHEEL WFG and WebWHEEL WTN.

So, the only way of doing any certification course from AIUB CEC is attending the classes physically at our campus. NATIONAL CISCO SKILLS COMPETITION 2009
Cisco® the worldwide leader in networking along with American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) organized the 2nd National Skills Competition in Dhaka. The day-long competition saw participation from 47 teams comprising 141 students from across 12 Cisco networking academies in Bangladesh. The three winning teams will represent Bangladesh at the SAARC Skills Competition scheduled for September 2009. The competition was inaugurated by Dr. Carmen Z Lamagna, Honorable Vice Chancellor of AIUB in the presence of Mr. Lokesh Mehra, Regional Manager-Corporate Responsibility, Cisco South Asia, Mr.Jagan Jothivel, Area Academy Manager, Cisco India and SAARC and Mr.Rezaur Rezzak, Director Continuing Education, AIUB. The Skills Competition helps evaluate students’ skills in designing, maintaining and troubleshooting computer networks so as to ensure that the quality of training being provided to students is in line with the best in the world.
