On Monday, 6th July 2026, the Department of Economics organized an engaging CV Writing and CV Critique Clinic at the Media Studio, Annex 2, Level 2, aimed at preparing graduating students for internships and future career opportunities.
The interactive session was conducted by Mr. M. Mushfiqur Rahman, Learning Experience & Talent Partner, Human Resources, Business HR Operations, Chevron Bangladesh, who shared practical, industry-focused insights on crafting impactful CVs and making a strong impression during internship and job applications. Through presentations, discussions, and live CV critiques, students gained valuable guidance on aligning their CVs with employer expectations, highlighting their strengths effectively, and enhancing their overall professional profile.
The session was facilitated by Dr. Faria Sultana, Associate Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and Head, Department of Economics, who encouraged students to actively participate and take advantage of the opportunity to receive personalized feedback from an experienced HR professional.
Designed primarily for graduating students from Economics, the clinic offered practical strategies, real-world perspectives, and actionable advice to help participants strengthen their career readiness and approach internship and job applications with greater confidence.
