The Microbiology Laboratory of Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at AIUB under Faculty of Health & Life Science provides updated facilities with modern instrumentation for the study of microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, and viruses. It offers students for hands-on training in culturing, staining, and identification techniques, with a strong focus on precision, aseptic handling, and effective laboratory practice. The laboratory covers a wide scope of practical work, including microbial isolation, growth analysis, antibiotic sensitivity testing, and basic immunological techniques. It supports learning in fields such as medical microbiology, environmental microbiology, industrial microbiology, and public health.
